Hannah Cornelius, 21, was raped and murdered brutally by four people while traveling to Stellenbosch, South Africa. For the rape and murder case, Nashville Julius, Geraldo Parsons, Eben Van Niekerk, and Vernon Witbooi got arrested.

Following the Cape Town high court trial, her cruel killers were sentenced to a total of 358 years in prison, with three of the four getting life sentences.

On the night of May 27, 2017, Hannah was gang-raped and fatally stabbed in the neck.

Hannah’s body was sent to the hospital for an autopsy after the incident.

The gang headed to a nearby gas station to use Cheslin’s card to withdraw money from a cash machine, but they were given the wrong pin. The bricks beat Marsh after driving them to a remote location, but he managed to escape over a wall.

Averal Fourtuim, a local, found him. He had several head injuries as well as a broken arm. Traumatized, Cheslin awakened partially deaf and unsure whether Hannah was dead or alive after the brutal attack.

She had been driven to a rural road, where the group planned to keep her alive until she fought back and got stabbed in the neck.
