In May 2022, Ludwig go a Scottish Fold cat and asked his followers to vote on his name. After some controversy, the cat was almost set to be named either Marbles or Cracker, but Ludwig went with the name Coots.

QTCinderella has a long-haired Scottish Fold cat named Ders that she shares with Ludwig. “Ders” is short for “Derpy”. Ders is also sometimes called Ludwig Jr. Ders also used to go by the nickname Rengar.
