We happily enjoy the holidays and chew our chicken and/or goat meat in joy, but having the right or the choice to celebrate December 25 is not something available to everyone on this planet.
In about three countries today Christmas is actually banned, these citizens are unable to enjoy the festivities – but the holiday has received persecution in different countries at different points of history.
Even some countries you would consider the bastions of Christianity make this list!

Brunei
A Muslim majority nation, the Gulf country banned its minuscule Christian population from celebrating the season last year. Those who violate this ban could face up to five years in jail.
